It is customary to sing lullabies, ditties and rhymes to children in most countries and cultures throughout the world and this fun and sociable class enables you to learn some wonderful songs to sing to your baby.

The range of songs, which include traditional and modern versions, can be playful or calming, and lovingly nurture your baby's natural musicality! You will explore the amazing benefits of singing to comfort and delight your baby and develop a simple repertoire of favourite songs. Far from needing to be a 'musical' expert, this course can support you to feel more confident to sing to your baby at home!

Also included in the sessions is an exploration of how to use 'treasure boxes' with your baby, class discussions and time to chat. Classes are held at my home, just off Wanstead high Street.  Refreshments, including tea and coffee and fresh fruit are served as part of the session and also include my homemade cakes!

Best for babies from 3 months old to 'just about to get mobile'. Maximum class size: 6 / Minimum: 4

My baby and I have loved baby music with Buddha Baby. In fact, we loved it so much, we did the course three times! The songs are different and make a welcome change from the standard traditional nursery rhymes. Sally’s home is very welcoming and I have found, even on the tougher days, both Irys and I seem to relax when we are there. Sally thinks of everything and is very knowledgeable about baby and child development. I have learnt a lot on these courses. My memories of baby music are very special and I will treasure them. The music and songs I have learnt will continue to be sung in my family for many years to come!

It’s been lovely singing to Evie, building a repertoire of songs, and seeing her recognise them more each week - we leave with some firm favourites! Sally carries everyone’s buggies inside, bakes a different cake each week, makes us mummies eat fruit when we may be forgetting to do so ourselves (!) and opens up a space for discussion on a different topic in between songs which helps you to think about something other than feeding, nappies etc when you are caught up in your baby whirlwind! Thoroughly recommend!

Me and my daughter had a wonderful time on the baby music course! It was calm, creative and fun - our favourite baby class of all the ones we’ve tried! I especially love the relaxing atmosphere that you feel as soon as you step in the door - a chance to sit down and breath whilst having a giggle with your baby.
